Alex is originally from Staffordshire in England, currently based in London. He trained at the Guildford School of Acting where he was the Postgraduate Acting Prize winner, following a bachelor’s degree in Drama and Theatre Studies at Aberystwyth University.

Alex has worked extensively as an actor in theatre and musical theatre across the UK and internationally. He was nominated for the 2018 BroadwayWorld UK Award for Best Actor in a New Production of a Musical.

Since last year’s appearance at Vienna’s English Theatre, Alex has been working with the award-winning touring Shakespeare company, Oddsocks, playing Demetrius and Flute in their actor-musician tour of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Most recently, he played the part of Julian Marsh in the sell-out production of 42nd Street at Upstairs at the Gatehouse in Highgate, London, garnering 4 and 5 star reviews across the board.

His theatre credits include Beauty and the Beast (Salisbury Playhouse), The Full Monty (Old Joint Stock, Birmingham), I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (The English Theatre of Hamburg), Company and Cabaret (Aberdeen Arts Centre), Sunny Afternoon (UK/Ireland Tour), The Mousetrap (UK Tour), Beauty and the Beast (The Capitol, Horsham), Cinderella and A Christmas Carol (Lichfield Garrick), Rapunzel and the Rascal Prince (Theatre Royal, Bury St. Edmunds), Wind in the Willows (UK Tour), If I Were You (UK Tour), and AngelRust (The River People/Edinburgh Fringe).

His London theatre credits include Mob Wife: A Mafia Comedy (Cockpit Theatre), Wardrobe In Concert (Sands Films Studio), V For Victory (Stockwell Playhouse), Eyes Closed, Ears Covered (Bunker Theatre), Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story and High Society (Upstairs at The Gatehouse), On The Rocks (Pentameters Theatre), and Crazy For You (London Palladium).

Screen credits include Paratrooper (TV Pilot in development), The Expert (Web Series for Film 0.1), Reading for Survival (48hr London Sci-Fi Film Festival), One More Kiss, Dear (Long Water Films), and The Science of Attraction (Channel 4/Objective Productions).

Other credits include Lead Soloist (AIDA Cruises 2013-14) and Lead Soloist (Brick Lane Music Hall).
