Charles Davies

Victor Prynne

Charles previously misbehaved as Bernard in Boeing Boeing at Vienna’s English Theatre, which remains one of his fondest memories, and is thrilled to be back on stage in this fabulous city. When he’s not strolling around the world pretending that he’s working, Charles idles his time away aboard the most beautiful canal boat in Britain, surrounded by unruly ducks.

Theatre credits include: Guilty Secret, Blithe Spirit, Murder in Play, Our Man in Havana, Present Laughter, Private Lives and Boeing Boeing (UK productions); A Nightingale Sang, Dangerous Obsession, Relatively Speaking, Outside Edge, Charley’s Aunt, Dry Rot, The Prisoner of Zenda, The Tinderbox, The Count of Monte Cristo, Noises Off, A Chorus of Disapproval, Round and Round the Garden, Same Time Next Year, Absurd Person Singular, Momento Mori, Time and Time Again, Horrible Histories, Barefoot in the Park, A Christmas Carol, As You Like It, I Am a Camera, The Rivals, An Ideal Husband, Romeo and Juliet, Aladdin, The Canterville Ghost and Eminent Victorians.

T.V. and film credits include: Enterprice, Uncle, Eastenders (BBC); Emmerdale (ITV); Nazi Megastructures (National Geographic); Heroes and Villains (One Vision Films); Fired (Virgin Media Shorts); Exhibit A (Bent Films); Tincture of Vervain (Pathétique Films) and Badinage (OH Films).

Radio credits include: All six series of G. F. Newman’s The Corrupted, The Ebb Tide, The Antiquarian, The Avengers: Tunnel of Fear and Darius Darque, Supernatural Detective. Charles has also recorded several series of talking books for English learners by Cornelia Funke and Ursel Scheffler in Germany.
