Giles has previously worked for Vienna’s English Theatre, playing Jo in Sugar and Spice and is more than happy to be back in such a wonderful city. He was born in Manchester and trained at Rose Bruford.
Other theatre credits include most recently Turbo in No Sweat at the Birmingham Rep; Carter in Somewhere the Shadow at the Manchester Contact Theatre; Miles in Made of Stone at the Royal Court Theatre; Tony Lumpkin in She Stoops to Conquer and Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night both for Compass Theatre Company; George in The School for Wives for Channel Theatre Company; the title role in Dorian Gray for White Horse Theatre and Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Impact Theatre.
Television credits include Hidden City for Rough Films; City Central, Hetty Wainthrope and Doctors for the
BBC; and The Bill for Thames TV.
Film roles include Punk As F**** (Suited & Booted); Mrs Meitlemeihr (Rose Hackney Barber); Frontline (Tom Cat Productions); The Prodigal (Lion Productions) and The Present (Lion Films).
