Alex’s design credits include: The Firm, The Meeting (Hampstead Downstairs); A Day by the Sea, The Fifth Column, Cutting of the Cloth and What the Women Did (Southwark Playhouse); Dead Simple (The Mill at Sonning), London Calling and Can’t Buy Me Love (Salisbury Playhouse); Sherlock Holmes and the Crimson Cobbles and Around the World in 80 Days (Chipping Norton Theatre and Tour); Jus’ Like That (Mark Goucher Ltd); The Trial of Jane Fonda (Edinburgh Festival); Strictly Murder (National Tour); The Real McCoy – Reconnected (Hackney Empire); Ex (Soho Theatre) and Asking Rembrandt (Old Red Lion).

His West End credits include: Plague Over England (The Duchess Theatre); Tape, My Real War 1914 – ? and Dream of the Dog (Trafalgar Studios), and London Wall (St James Theatre)

As resident designer for the multi-award-winning Finborough Theatre he has designed over forty productions including rare revivals such as: Windows, Flowering Cherry, The White Carnation, Outward Bound, Me and Juliet, Lark Rise to Candleford and new writing including: Schism, Sweethearts and most of James Graham’s early plays. He is also a lecturer in design for the University of West London and director of a large Youth Theatre, also in West London.
