David is delighted to return to Vienna to play Friar Lawrence in the 40th anniversary production of Romeo & Juliet. He first came to Austria in 2001 to play the leader of a religious cult in Vienna English Theatre’s production of Millennium by Sean Aita.

David Kendall has just completed a No.1 tour of Where There’s a Will directed by Sir Peter Hall where he played Gusman and understudied Thommereux. Other theatre experience includes Kindlekrax, The Four Alice Bakers, The Field and When He Comes Around at the Birmingham Rep, The Railway Children, New Vic, As You Like It, National Tour, Blue John, The Crucible, Sheffield, Frankenstein, Theatre Royal Northampton, Zasstrozzi, The Cockpit Theatre London, In the Image of the Beast and The Mill on the Floss for Red Shift Theatre Company, Smack, The Thin Seam, Beauty and the Beast, Volpone for Harrogate Theatre. Other work includes 3 tours for Snap Theatre Company amongst others.

Recent TV include Great Industrial Wonders for BBC, The Jewel in the Crown and Enemy of the State for Granada, A Better Class of Person for Thames, Metal Mickey for LWT. Filming includes The Peacock’s Tail, The Father and he has just finished filming Twister for Christmas.
