SYNOPSIS

The world of theatre and the Mafia clash hilariously when Angie Graziano,
the daughter of an Italian “businessman”, encourages her former college
professor and aspiring playwright, Terence O’Keefe, to seek funding from her family for his new play. Set in a New England Italian restaurant, it’s not
only the espresso that starts to heat up when the professor gets more
support than he bargained for.

Lou Graziano, anxious to marry off his dictatorial daughter, is willing to
invest a million dollars together with “uncles” and business associates Tino
and Mike, who may not know anything about theatre but certainly are far more familiar with the theme of the play: murder. They are more than willing to help the increasingly petrified writer “fix” the script and can’t refrain from suggesting their nieces for parts in the future Broadway hit. The situation is further complicated by lusty Angie, who is head over heels in love with Terence and won’t take no for an answer. In this madcap situation, murder and menace are served up with plenty of pasta and laughter.
