Lily Harrison, a widowed pensioner living in Florida, has hired a dance instructor for six weeks in the hope of spicing up her uneventful life. Much to her dismay, she is greeted by an acerbic, New Yorker, Michael Minetti. It is hate at first sight for the disparate duo who are each lonely and bitter for different reasons. As they bicker, dance and unfold their inner-most secrets, the two prickly personalities discover that they have more in common than either could have imagined and gradually glide and spin towards the best friendship of their lives in this charming and touching comedy.
Since its Los Angeles premiere and Broadway opening, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks has been translated into 12 languages and has traversed the globe with productions in over 20 countries, establishing itself as an international hit and one of the most produced plays in the world.
