Bob’s theatre credits include: Reigen (Residenztheater, Munich); The Empire and The Lying Kind (Royal Court, London); Paradise Bound and The Way Home (Liverpool Everyman); Love Me Tonight (Hampstead); Edward Gant’s Amazing Feats of Loneliness, Chekhov in Hell and The Astronaut’s Chair (The Drum, Plymouth); Angels in America and Charley’s Aunt (Crucible Theatre, Sheffield); Bottle Universe, The God Botherers, Stitching, Hijra, Trance and Pumpgirl (Bush Theatre, London); All Nighter and Horse-Play (The Royal Ballet); Translations and Moll Flanders (Theatre Royal, Bristol Old Vic); Rent, Hair, Cabaret, An Inspector Calls, An Ideal Husband, The Importance of Being Earnest, Rain Man and Breaking the Code (English Theatre, Frankfurt). UK Tours include Anything Goes, The New Statesman, Lieutenant of Inishmore and Tom Stoppard’s The Real Thing. In 2007 Bob designed the set for the “Take That” musical Never Forget (Savoy Theatre, London and 2 UK tours).

Opera Designs include Tosca (Nationale Reisopera, Netherlands); Don Giovanni (British Youth Opera); Manon Lescaut, Fedora, Macbeth and La Sonnambula (Opera Holland Park); Falstaff (Guildhall Opera); About Face (Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House, London); The Bartered Bride (Royal College of Music).

In 1999 Bob was awarded Time Out Designer of The Year for his Set Design for DV8’s production of The Happiest Day of My Life (UK and European Tour). Bob is currently designing La Cage Aux Folles (Denmark).
