London, December 1936 – the day of Edward VIII’s abdication, a day when everyone in England is at home waiting to hear the King’s history-making speech on the radio – the perfect timing for a devilish murder plot! Evelyn Farrant, a struggling, unsuccessful actor plans to murder his identical twin brother, the wealthy and sophisticated Rupert Farrant, hoping to then seamlessly assume the identity of the hated brother and secure his fortune for himself. To achieve the desired result, Evelyn enlists the services of bumbling and shady Irishman, Major Ambrose Powell. However, as with most fool proof plans, things do not quite go as they should and people are not exactly what they seem.
Gerald Moon’s tremendously clever comedy-thriller has more twists than a corkscrew!

A wild, high camp comedy thriller . . . a play where anything can happen . . . and most of it does! – London Daily Mail

Brilliant comedy thriller. . . . Vastly entertaining. . . . You may die laughing. –N.Y. Post
