Jessica Frances grew up in Oxford with a passion for Acting and Musical Theatre. By the time she finished secondary school, Jessica had performed on the main stages in Oxford including The Oxford Playhouse, The New Theatre and the Amey Theatre. She successfully gained a place on the BA Acting Course at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Credits whilst training include lead roles in Mies Julie, Measure For Measure, Pygmalion, Hobson’s Choice and the titular role of Electra for which she was awarded the Sue White prize for Vocal Excellence. She graduated in 2018 and at the end of her training was very honoured to be chosen to perform In the Sam Wanamaker festival at the Globe, where she performed a scene from Shakespeare’s The Tempest, for which she was awarded the Brian Shelton Meritem Award. This still remains one of Jessica’s career highlights and a memory she will forever cherish.
Since graduating, her credits include Doctors (BBC), Testament (The Hope Theatre), Arms and the Man (Tour), Vice Versa (Music Video). This will be Jessica’s second time working with Vienna’s English Theatre as she previously played Lena Dean in the School Tours production of Web of Lies. Jessica is thrilled that she will be returning to Vienna, performing in this beautiful theatre.
