Synopsis
Edward Taylor’s ingenious play updates the classic thriller genre while paying homage to the
great stage mysteries of the past. Murder by Misadventure is a cat-and-mouse thriller filled
with enough twists and turns to keep audiences guessing right up to the final curtain.
Writers Harold Kent and Paul Riggs have just concocted a devilish plot for their latest murder
mystery, but their successful and profitable partnership is built on secrets and old grudges.
Over the years, Harold has made clever investments and lives with his wife in a sunny luxury
flat high above the Sussex coast. Paul, on the other hand, has spent his cash on booze and
women, and lives in debt. Harold now wants to break the partnership because of his
partner’s increasing recklessness, but Paul knows a sinister secret from his past. Murder
seems more and more like the only answer to their problems...
“This edge-of-the-seat thriller keeps the heart racing to the bitter end. A sure-fire winner!”
